Richardson Beginning Band

Richardson Beginning Band is a Middle School Concert Band whose members are 6th, 7th and 8th grade students that have no previous Instrumental Music experience or students with some previous music experience that need more instruction before they are ready to join one of the higher level music ensembles.  

Students are accepted by signing up for this elective course prior to the beginning of the school year.  No audition is required. 

This ensemble will typically perform 3 shows per year which include; Winter and Spring Concerts and an Electives Assembly Performance.
